Inspired by three of our iconic places, we are pleased to show you “Le tre civette” rooms:
L’orologio (The clock tower)
L’orologio it’s the double room named after the square located just a stone throw from our place. You can enjoy just a 150 mt walk.
A bit of history
Builded back in the XIX century,following the construction of the square-based clock tower. In 1820 it replaced the Palazzo del Sedile which hosted the city hall, the jail and the tax office. Nowadays the square around it it’s also named after the tower: Piazza Orologio.

La Gravina
The main double room, ideal for families. Its main feature it’s the double, indipendent access from the nearby Via Michele De Biasi 5. Through this access you will avoid the stairs and get straight in you room. By walking through the footpaths around you can explore our Grand Canyon, just few meters away.
A bit of history
La Gravina surrounds the village like a horseshoe well over 10km. It consists mainly of the 2 ancient villages Casale and Rivolta. Both do not just represent a curious building technique, but also an actual urban plan and and amazing environment management. For instance, these villages were built up making sure all the caves way in were facing south so the sun could warm them up during the winter.

Double room, ideal for families. A true gem with its two landscapes: the inland La Rivolta village and the Ginosa Marina’s coast. La Rivolta village it’s just around the corner from your door, and you can get in through a typical footpath which will lead you to the heart of this incredible natural heaven.
A bit of history
“La rivolta” it’s a troglodyte village. 66 caves, builded up on 5 floors and connected by stairs. Each cave had a typical chimney on the roof which was a family symbol. Humans used to live with animals and large families. Nowadays many experts consider this ancient village one of the most important in Italy.
